File transfer is direct from the sending computer to the receiving computer, no server is in the middle.
Gigabyte Express must be running at both the sending and receiving computers.

Gigabyte Express Home, an inexpensive offering for home use and manual file transfer initiation.

Gigabyte Express for use on Macintosh OS X and Linux (without a Graphic User Interface) is also available.
